.... Selection criteria

In order to obtain a post at Eliott’s Preschool you must:
-    be a native English speaker
-    have experience teaching children or working within a childcare role
-    be able to work for a minimum of one academic year (e.g. September 2010 to June 2011)

-We provide free training for all our teachers and support throughout the academic year, including provision of any materials you may require.

-We provide free french classes.


How to register with the Repertoire de Gaspard ?

If you already meet our selection criteria (native English speaker, availability for a full academic year and have experience teaching English to children or working with young children), please contact us  to arrange a meeting or email us outlining your competences and availability and we can take it from there.

.... Your personal dossier

During your interview, you will need to present the following documents to us (the original and a photocopy). For any incomplete dossiers, your application will be refused.

.... Your identity

-Identity care or passport or resident's card/residence permit
-Social security number and ‘carte vitale’ – these two items are essential
-Proof of residence with you name on it (signed rent receipts from your landlord, gas/electricity bill or telephone bill)
-A police record extract – this can be obtained via the following website - www.cjn.justice.gouv.fr – click on section 3 and fill out the form there. The certificate that you will receive proves that you are eligible to work with children in France
-Student card if relevant

 

.... Proof of educational and working background

-A CV with a passport photo
-Diplomas
-Names, contact details and references from previous employers – especially those within the childcare sector.
-The last payslip from each of your previous jobs.
-Optional but welcome – reference letters from your employers

The interview
The interview lasts about two hours maximum so please ensure you leave sufficient time for this. Also, it would be advisable to you to speak with your references in advance as we systematically check all references – phone numbers of references are a must.
